You can be set up in a few minutes. Pick the path that matches what you want to do.

## To borrow

- Sign in Go to app.spout.finance and sign in with your email or a Solana wallet. See Creating Your Account and Wallet.
- Add a little SOL You need it for network fees, and USDC if you plan to buy stock. See Adding Funds.

- Get collateral Buy a tokenized stock on the Buy screen, with or without leverage, or use one you already hold.
- Open a position On the Borrow screen, pick the asset, choose how much to borrow with the LTV slider, and confirm in your wallet. Deposit and borrow happen in one signature.

- Watch your LTV Keep it well below your asset's liquidation threshold. See LTV, Health Factor and Safety Zones.
- Repay and withdraw Repay whenever you like. Collateral can leave between cycles, once it has been through at least one options cycle and its tokens are back in the pool.

## To lend

- Sign in Sign in and add USDC, plus a little SOL for network fees, on Solana.
- Choose a tranche On the Earn screen, pick Senior or Junior. Senior is paid first and takes losses last. Junior targets a higher return and takes losses first. See Choosing a Tranche.

- Deposit You receive tranche share tokens that grow in value as yield accrues.
- Withdraw Redeem your shares when you want to leave. See Withdrawing From Senior and Withdrawing From Junior.

Lending needs no collateral and no identity verification.
