Identity Verification
Some features may require identity verification. Lending does not. If a feature you use needs it, the app tells you and walks you through it.
How it works
Start
Tap Verify identity when the app asks. Verification is run by a specialist identity provider in its own secure flow.
Submit
Follow the provider's steps. The provider collects your documents in its own flow, and Spout receives the result of the check.
Review
Some checks go to manual review, which takes longer.
Verified
Your wallet is marked as verified onchain. The onchain record holds only a verified flag, never your personal details.
What you might see

More than one wallet
If you use several wallets, you can link them to the same verified identity, so you only verify once.
