What You Can Verify Onchain
Most of what these docs describe is recorded on Solana, where anyone can read it with a block explorer.
| What | What you can see |
|---|---|
| Collateral pools | For each asset: how many tokens and receipt tokens are pooled, how many pool shares exist, and how many tokens are waiting to join at the next cycle |
| Your position | Your pool shares, collateral not yet in the pool, your loan, and your settings |
| Asset settings | Each asset's maximum LTV, liquidation threshold, penalty and limits |
| The lending pool | Senior and Junior values and shares, available cash, total lent, and utilization |
| Contracts | Each contract's recorded premium and expiry, and the fee rate frozen for it |
| Settlements | Each weekly settlement and the cash it delivered |
| The Insurance Fund | Its balance |
| Treasury bill rate | The rate currently accruing on idle cash |
| Prices | The Stork price for each asset and when it was last updated |
| Pauses | Which actions are paused, and whether emergency shutdown is on |
What is not onchain
- The exact rules for choosing strikes and expiries. See What Spout Keeps Private, and Why.
- Broker side records of option trades, liquidation sales and buy backs. They are reconciled against the chain before any cycle moves on.
- The real shares held in Spout's brokerage account. The receipt tokens in each pool show onchain how many shares should be there, and the two are reconciled before any cycle moves on.
