Points

Spout has a points program that rewards the things the protocol actually wants more of: locking collateral, lending stablecoins, holding positions over multiple cycles, and bringing in other users.

Points accrue continuously while you have an active position. The rate is published in the app, and the rules are intentionally simple. We do not run gimmicky multipliers or short-lived bonus events; the rate you see is the rate you get, and it adjusts in clear, announced steps if it ever changes.

Points will be the basis for the protocol's future token distribution. Specifics on that distribution will be published when the token program is finalized. In the meantime, every borrow, every deposit, every cycle you stay enrolled counts toward your eventual share.
